Network, celebrate, learn, and grow!
Our membership events are designed to give members great opportunities to increase their contacts in the homebuilding industry. From casual gatherings like our After Hours, to formal events like the Holiday Builders Ball, to sporting events such as the HBA Golf Tournament, events open doors to new business relationships, celebrate industry successes, and recognize our members. Growth is essential in a changing industry, and our education department helps keep members on track with information, training and certification opportunities for our membership. Our goal is to be the preferred industry resource - continually identifying new and relevant trends, presenting exciting speakers and offering timely certification programs. This month's luncheon features Jon Chandler, CEO for the Oregon Home Builders Association. The impact of policies, regulations and 'great ideas' coming out of the State Legislature during the '09 session will be critical to our industry's ability to survive and thrive. Jon will provide an overview of key issues we'll be working for and fighting against on behalf of the industry. Always entertaining, and one of the best lobbyists in Oregon, Jon will provide you with information important to your business in 2009.

Remodelers Council Monthly Meeting

This year the Remodelers Council will be kicking off the New Year with a beach party at the NW Natural Appliance Center. NW Natural welcomes the HBA Remodeler’s Council to this social gathering from 5 - 7:30 p.m.
Sustainable building ideas such as tankless water heaters, high-efficiency fireplaces and zone heating will be on display as well as unique kitchen products like the Aga cooker, Jade commercial quality range and DCS dish drawer.
Cooking demonstrations and appetizers will be on the agenda. Meet with your fellow Remodelers Council members and enjoy an evening of sunshine and summertime sun.
