HBF Events

Six ways to support the HBF

Foundation Auction and Benefit Dinner

Spring. More than 300 members, industry professionals and community supporters gather for this fun black-tie gala. The event includes a silent auction, raffles, live auction and a chance for giving in the special appeal.

Foundation 100 Go Kart Race

Summer. Participants let off steam by racing around the track at 50+ mph in the name of charity. Held each summer at Pat’s Acres Racing Complex in Canby, Oregon, this event is sure to blow your socks (or hats!) off.

Flip Flops & Lemon Drops

Summer. This ladies-only cocktail party brings together new and old friends for some down time, complete with gorgeous views, delicious appetizers, sweet treats, and frosty lemon drop martinis.

Trap Shoot

Fall. Each fall, the local community “aims” to end homelessness through this annual shooting event. Attendees have the opportunity to participate in many special events, including an Annie Oakley Sharp Shooter contest, scatter board competition, raffle drawings and a silent auction.

Painting A Better Tomorrow

Fall. PABT is an annual one-day event and volunteer blitz program. The Home Builders Foundation will coordinate teams of volunteers from the home building community to provide painting, cleaning and minor repairs to facilities owned or operated by non-profit service providers serving the homeless in the greater Portland Metropolitan region.

Year End Fund Drive

Winter. At the end of each year, the Board does a special ask aimed at raising funds for a particular project.
