Professional remodelers organization
The Professional Remodelers Organization (PRO) is the council of the Home Builders Association focused on the remodeling industry. Lead by an executive committee made up of leaders in the remodeling industry, PRO facilitates expert remodeling choices to all residents in the greater Portland area and unites remodelers and related industry professionals to create an environment which enables members to effectively and knowledgeably meet the needs of their clients and employees. PRO hosts industry networking events, happy hours, educational seminars and consumer events.

SteveN Heiteen PRO Scholarship

The Steven Heiteen PRO (Professional Remodelers Organization) scholarship is designed for a full or part time student in a post-secondary residential construction program or applicable trade program (trade school, community college or university) in the Portland Metro Area. Qualified applicants must:
The award is valid for one term of classes (tuition only), maximum of 12 credits at the current resident rate and a maximum $1,200 total.
Scholarship will be distributed to the school on behalf of the scholarship recipient.
Applications are open April 15 – June 8, 2018 with award announcement at the end of June for Fall 2018 distribution.

- Complete online application, including a statement explaining career aspirations in the residential construction industry
- Ask a teacher to provide an online recommendation to support your interest in the industry – an online link will also be available confirming receipt of application
