2026 General Election Candidate & Measure Endorsements

Following nearly a dozen interviews, HBA and our Government Affairs Committee have released the first round of endorsements for the November general election. Our local Government Affairs and Political Action Committees recently voted to endorse a selection of candidates in the primary election on November 3, 2026.

In addition to endorsements, HBA supports candidates through campaign contributions. These contributions are an important part of our advocacy efforts, but can’t happen without you. Candidate Questionnaires: A Closer Look at Their Priorities

Before interviewing candidates, our Government Affairs team developed and distributed a detailed questionnaire to better understand each candidate’s priorities. We did this because interviews don’t always allow enough time to fully explore every issue or priority. The questionnaires gave our team a more in-depth understanding of where each candidate stands.
