Support our Advocacy Efforts
The HBA’s Political Action Committee (PAC), Oregonians for Affordable Housing (OFAH), plays a vital role in shaping the future of housing in Oregon. OFAH supports housing and business-friendly candidates and measures both locally and at the state level, ensuring that pro-housing voices are heard where decisions are made. By strengthening the HBA’s work with elected leaders, OFAH helps address the legislative and regulatory challenges that impact our industry every day.
We actively oppose anti-housing efforts and champion policies that expand supply, lower barriers, and create solutions so that all Oregonians, regardless of income, have access to high-quality, affordable homes. A strong PAC means a stronger voice for builders, remodelers, and the families we serve.
Your contribution to OFAH fuels these efforts, helping elect candidates who prioritize housing and ensuring our industry’s voice remains strong in every policy conversation.
Support OFAH today and be part of building a stronger future for housing in Oregon
HBA's 2026 candidate endorsemenTs are in!
Spring means an important election season is upon us. The HBA has endorsed a slate of candidates committed to supporting our industry ahead of the May 19 Primary but we need our member’s help to push them to victory. You can view the list of candidates and measures we’re supporting here.
Numerous late filers have made every race in which we provided an endorsement a contested one. A contribution to our Political Action Committee, Oregonians for Affordable Housing, can help ensure we provide the financial support necessary to help our endorsed candidates reach or maintain elected office. In local elections, the ability to donate an extra $500 or $1,000 to a candidate can make an important difference in their ability to win.
You can donate online here. If you have questions, please reach out to me at benh@hbapdx.org.
Contributions to our PAC are split equally between the HBA of Greater Portland and the Oregon HBA, providing support for local and state level candidates that seek to foster new home development in the region and across the state.
