2027 HBA Housing Forecast
On Friday, November 6, at 7 am, the Home Building Association of Greater Portland will host the annual Housing Forecast at the Oregon Convention Center. More than 450 industry professionals and government officials gathered for this informative breakfast, highlighted by insights and analysis with unique perspectives on the housing industry.
Our highly anticipated and well-attended annual Housing Forecast has a fresh format and new content meant to engage our attendees. We are focused on providing practical insight and ideas into how both national and local trends impact the housing construction and sales industry locally.
The program will include a presentation and forecast from NAHB’s senior economist, Robert Dietz, covering both national and state data, trends and forecasting. His presentation will cover single-family, multi-family, and remodeling.
Following his presentation, we will have a panel discussion with local industry leaders in residential development, construction, real estate sales and finance. They will provide insights into local trends and respond to the forecast, what they are seeing coming in the year ahead, and provide thoughts on impacts and business planning.
In addition, we will be honoring this year’s recipients of HBA’s Lifetime Achievement Award – Tim Breedlove with Renaissance Homes, and Gordon Root with Stafford Land Company.
