Looking ahead, OFAH is launching a Candidate Training School to equip future leaders with the tools they need to run successful campaigns and advocate for policies that support housing. This initiative will help us build a pipeline of knowledgeable, pro-building candidates who understand the importance of housing to Oregon’s economy, workforce, and communities.

HBA PAC House - what is it?
Another way the HBA raises funds to support our PAC is through the construction and sale of PAC Houses. PAC Houses are built by HBA builder and developer members in collaboration with suppliers and trades, playing a vital role in advancing HBA’s advocacy initiatives. The proceeds from home sales support OFAH (Oregonians for Affordable Housing), HBA’s political action committee, which funds industry-friendly candidates and measures at both the local and state levels.
