REMODELING & cUSTOM bUILDING cOUNCIL
The Remodeling & Custom Building Council of the Home Building Association focused on the remodeling and custom home building sector of the industry. Lead by an executive committee made up of leaders in these industry sectors, RCB facilitates expert remodeling and custom building choices to all residents in the greater Portland area. The council unites remodelers, custom builders and related industry professionals to create an environment which enables members to effectively and knowledgeably meet the needs of their clients and employees. RCB hosts industry networking events, happy hours, educational seminars and consumer events.

SteveN Heiteen PRO Scholarship
The Steven Heiteen PRO scholarship was designed for a full or part time student in a post-secondary residential construction program or applicable trade program (trade school, community college or university) in the Greater Portland Area. Qualified applicants must:
The award is valid for one term of classes (tuition only), maximum of 12 credits at the current resident rate and a maximum $1,200 total.
Scholarship will be distributed to the school on behalf of the scholarship recipient.
- Complete online application, including a statement explaining career aspirations in the residential construction industry
- Ask a teacher to provide an online recommendation to support your interest in the industry – an online link will also be available confirming receipt of application
