What is a Builder Member?
Builder members are home builders, remodelers or general contractors. Your membership dues amount is based on your annual sales volume.
What is an Associate Member?
Associate Members are companies that are in the home building industry, but are not builders or remodelers. Some examples of associate members are interior designers, printers, realtors, bankers, mortgage brokers, painters, or distributors. Your membership dues amount is based on the number of employees in your company or branch office.
What is an Affiliate Member?
Each organization has a primary member. However, we encourage companies to have additional employees be included as an affiliate member.
Councils
Small groups of members meet monthly to focus on purpose based projects to enhance the industry and support the HBA strategic plan. You can learn more about our councils here.
Payment Plans
We also give our members the option to pay their dues over a 12 month period. If you wish to take advantage of our 12 pay plan, please download the form and fill out the appropriate information. Please email your form to [email protected] or send it to the address listed below.
Renewals
You will receive a renewal notice for your annual HBA membership.

*Please note that the membership dues are not automatically refundable and are subject to review at the time of request. If the refund is approved, it will be will be an administrative fee assessed based on your membership category and it will be pro-rated based on the date of cancellation.
